The Real Problem
You've probably tried to fix this already. And if you're like most of the 132+ business owners I've worked with, you fell into one of these three traps.
⚠ Trap 01
You can write the most persuasive email in the world. But if your domain authentication is failing, Gmail routes it to spam before a human ever sees your subject line. Better copy doesn't fix a broken foundation.
⚠ Trap 02
Most people delete subscribers who haven't opened in 90 days. Smart move. But they leave the spam traps and abandoned inboxes sitting right there. Those invalid addresses aren't just dead weight — they're actively reporting your emails as unwanted with every send. Gmail is watching. Your sender score drops a little more each time.
⚠ Trap 03
ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit are great tools. But they do not control your domain. They cannot set up your DMARC records. They cannot protect your domain from being spoofed. That is your responsibility — and most people don't find out until something goes wrong.
"I've done everything right — SPF, DKIM, DMARC all set up. Still going to spam. It just statistically doesn't make sense to me." — Real quote from r/Emailmarketing
The AI Trap
Here's the thing nobody tells you about using AI to fix your deliverability: the output is only as good as the question. If you don't know what to look for, you don't know what to ask. And if you don't know what to ask, you get an answer that sounds completely reasonable — and makes everything worse.
I've had clients come to me after following ChatGPT's instructions step by step. Everything looked right on paper. And their emails were still going to spam — or worse, their entire sending setup was now broken in ways they couldn't see.
That's not a ChatGPT problem. That's an experience problem.
The problem isn't that you're not smart enough to figure this out. The problem is that you don't know what you don't know. And in email deliverability, what you don't know is exactly what's killing your results.
